It's crucial to get an ultrasound so the vet can decide the best course of action, but I can't afford it right now.

I need 125 USD to cover this ultrasound and the surgery, plus my internet service so I can keep working. This is all due before the end of the month! 😢

My dearest ones, my heart is a little broken today. 💔 Dobby isn't getting better, and the news isn't what we hoped for.

Dobby is still not improving and will be on medication until Sunday. Surgery is very likely, but the X-ray wasn't conclusive... (read more👇).

As you know, all these cats are rescues, and those who haven't been lucky enough to be adopted live with me as part of the family. Their care is my priority, but my income as an artist freelancer doesn't cover these unexpected expenses. 😿

On top of that, once Dobby recovers from this episode, he'll need a therapeutic diet (wet and then dry food for urinary care). This is a challenge, as he's not the only one: two of my other female cats also follow this diet.

He'll be hospitalized for 3 days for blood tests (to rule out kidney damage) and an X-ray (to check the size and number of stones). This is crucial for deciding if he needs surgery, but… Funds are urgently needed!!! 💸

In short, Dobby had an acute urinary obstruction due to urolithiasis (stones) and had to be emergently catheterized. During the procedure, he passed bloody urine (hematuria) and several stones! The vet was able to extract them, and you can see them in the photo.
