👉 Europe must not follow this path!

Instead, Europe can pave a better way - by investing in housing, care, dignity, and inclusion. To truly end poverty and homelessness, mental health must be at the heart of EU anti-poverty and housing strategy

these policies push society’s most vulnerable - the real victims of a society that has failed them - further to the margins Let’s face it, this approach does not work
But we know what does:
Housing First,
community-based mental health support,
Harm reduction and rights-based care,
and Inclusion Europe can PAVE A better way.
By protecting the human rights of all people, and Investing in care, housing, and solidarity
Find out how The European Union is currently developing an Anti-Poverty Strategy (APS) with a focus on housing.

To truly end poverty and homelessness, this strategy must put mental health at its core.

Because dignity, housing, and mental well-being go hand in hand.

🚨 Trump’s new exec order expands forced institutionalisation, criminalises homelessness, and rejects proven harm reduction and Housing First approaches

This isn’t safety, it’s punishment

The real danger is how such policies reinforce stigma, deepen marginalisation, and strip people of their rights
Trump is punishing Homelessness and Mental Distress In July 2025, President Trump continued his assault on basic human rights.
This time, Trump targeted people affected by homelessness and mental distress by signing an executive order that:
Expands forced institutionalisation, Criminalises homelessness, and Rejects harm reduction and Housing First Instead of addressing structural issues, Trump frames people experiencing poverty, homelessness, or mental health ISSUES as a danger
 - not as human beings. HOMELESSNESS IS NOT A CRIME
The real danger to society is the political choice to:
gut social programs,
punish rather than care,
and reinforce stigma
MENTAL HEALTH IS NOT A CRIME

This isn't just about physical safety; it's the psychosocial environment. Excessive workload, lack of autonomy, or a negative culture are psychosocial risks. Conversely, inclusive workplaces prioritising well-being foster purpose & belonging. #MentalHealth

Did you know your workplace profoundly impacts mental well-being? As #EuropeanMentalHealthWeek continues, we're focusing on the link between healthy working conditions & a thriving mental state. The European Pillar of Social Rights (EPSR) recognises fair work as a fundamental right (Chapter II).
