Oh yeah, I made it to Manchester. Currently running errands, as I have absolutely no household supplies anymore and the flat was delivered to me totally dirty. :(

I'm taking a moment tonight to absorb the fact that in 4 short days I'm going to not only not be in this apartment ever again, but not even on this continent for the foreseeable future. That is wild. I'm laying on my familiar, comfy mattress in familiar, comfy California and soon I....won't be. 🫣

Interesting. The bike that got stolen in November suddenly moved, according to the trackers that are apparently still attached.

2.5 hours after my grocery delivery window closed, they began picking my items.

They picked 2 items, then cancelled it.

I've been holding off on my dinner for almost 4 hours at this point because I was waiting on those groceries.

The cats go in for the 1st of their int'l travel exams tomorrow (well, later today).

I also gave notice on my apartment today, and will get my new lease in the next few hours.

Guess it's all locked in. 😅 No going back on the plan now! UK here I come!

Also, the kitty supplies I bought for the move to the UK arrived today (poor dears are NOT ready for the 24 hour itinerary we have ahead of us 🥺).

One of the items was a set of harnesses so I can let the cats stretch their legs.

A small win today: I completely dismantled my entire bathroom other than what I absolutely need for now, like my toothbrush and shower curtain - everything else got tossed/boxed/saved for yard sale. That means one whole room is essentially ready for my move! 🥳
