He Xiangning (何香凝; 1878–1972) was a Chinese revolutionary, politician, feminist, and painter.
She was one of the first Chinese women to take up studies in Japan.
She and her husband, Liao Zhongkai, were among the first to join the Tongmenghui, an anti-imperialist revolutionary movement in 1905.

Éva Balla‑Falus (1913-1966) was a Hungarian–French graphic artist, fashion and puppet designer, and animated film director.
She was instrumental in the founding & development of Hungarian puppet animation between 1948-1956, with her work rediscovered in 2024 after decades in obscurity.

She was the victim Francoists violence and imprisoned from 1939-1941. She was later forbidden to give music lessons and made a living working in the silk industry.
She wrote a memoir, which, together with other literary and journalistic columns, was published in 2009 La Sala llarga i altres escrits.

Antònia Abelló (1913-1984) was a Catalan political activist, republican journalist, feminist, pianist, and writer.
In 1936, she started working at the Department of Labor of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
She was part of the Unió de Dones de Catalunya, a group of anti-fascist women.

Augusta Bender (1846 – 1924) was a German teacher, poet, writer, and women's rights activist.
She also conducted noteworthy research on German folk songs. Throughout her life, she had written nursery rhymes, proverbs, poems, and novels
