This afternoon, 2pm till 5pm, after which a few of us will be downstairs in the main bar.
Join us this Saturday upstairs in the Ship & Mitre 2-5pm as we mark 50 years since broadcast of Pyramids of Mars. Our fan creator this month is The Whoniverse, who has compiled a history of Sutekh in the extended, erm, Whoniverse.
If you're wondering what Film is Fabulous is about and how it links to Doctor Who missing episodes, have a listen to this great interview with the people at the heart of the organisation and find out how you can help.

Interesting news from Film is Fabulous!

And donations are now open as they have successfully obtained charitable trust status.
ACQUIRING COLLECTIONS

We believe there are several missing episodes of Doctor Who and other important TV shows in collections in the UK. Charitable trust status and the ability to accept donations will enable Film is Fabulous! to access entire collections for cataloguing (1/2)
Doors open 1.30pm, you can stay till 5pm, but we'll be sharing the room with the public from 4pm.
Join us tomorrow afternoon upstairs in the Ship, a little earlier than normal, as we have to be out by 4pm. We'll be apprentices to a magician, and familiars of a witch as we take in the series 9 two-part opener, and watch some boi online, this month's fan creator, tinker with a new paradigm Dalek.
This afternoon! Join us upstairs in the Ship from 2-5pm.
This Saturday upstairs at the Ship & Mitre, 2pm to 5pm, we'll be taking in some radio! It's 40 years since Slipback aired, and we'll be looking back at a Tom Baker/Lis Sladen radio programme, Exploration Earth, animated by Adam Bullock.

This Saturday upstairs in the Ship, 2pm to 5pm. We'll be remembering The Big Bang 15 years after the event, and celebrating the work of Babelcolour.
This afternoon, 2pm to 5pm!
Join us this Saturday 21 June upstairs at the Ship & Mitre for an afternoon of fun as we enjoy some highlights from the recent #DoctorWho series, and welcome back the cast and crew of Who-Ligans who'll be presenting the latest episodes of their award-winning comedy web series.
Friend of the group, artist and Dalek63-88 guru Gav Rymill @themindrobber.bsky.social runs a new escape room on the Wirral, which a few of us tried out last week. It's great fun, and although tricky, we managed to get out in record time! Do pop along if you can. @westkirbyescape.bsky.social

Happy birthday to undeniably the sixiest Doctor Who, Colin Baker.

Williamson’s Tunnels and the heritage centre were obviously a massive part/influence for our Flux series of Doctor Who. Would be amazing if the Who community shared this appeal widely and/or were able to help before this looming deadline. See below and please RT!
If you've ever marvelled at the vaulted Victorian subterranea of Liverpool's Williamson tunnels you have The Heritage Centre to thank. Unfortunately, it will be closing for good on June 1st if they can't raise £12k.

Here's how you can help

It is with huge regret and great sadness that the Joseph Williamson Society has to report that,… David Bridson needs your support for Save the Heritage Centre

Don't forget this issue of DWM includes a free paperback of Terrance Dicks's previously rare Target novelisation of the second Doctor story "The Wheel in Space". #DoctorWho
Our Adrian has made it onto today's #DoctorWhoMagazine letter page (he's becoming a regular!).

Well done, Adrian! Thanks for plugging the group, and hope Doris the BBC Radio Merseyside Dalek didn't exterminate you too much.
(Assuming you understand Grimbaldi.)
The full lyrics are included in the description. So very poetic! #DoctorWho

At our Back to the Ship! meeting yesterday, we enjoyed @joshsnares.bsky.social's animation of The Genocide Machine with introduction video kindly provided by Josh for which many thanks!

We also watched many songs sung by the stars of Doctor Who, including this one!
This afternoon! From 2pm, upstairs in The Higher Room at The Ship & Mitre, Dale Street, Liverpool.
This month, we celebrate fan creator Josh Snares and look at their animation of The Genocide Machine, which Big Finish released 25 years ago, and enjoy some songs from the cast of #DoctorWho in our Who-rovision Song Contest. Saturday 17 May, 2-5pm upstairs in The Higher Room at the Ship & Mitre.
One song that didn't make the cut for this Saturday's Who-rovision Song Contest at our Back to the Ship! meeting is this cover of You Really Got Me, made of BT landline text messages when Tom Baker was the guest voice. Proceeds from the single went to Shelter.
