I don't doodle on books or on my notes. If I did that, I'd doodle on a piece of paper. Also definitely not my doodle style. Flowers and shapes were always my go to doodles.

In my freshman year of college we read Sappho's fragments/poems. I bought it used. I haven't looked at it in over 10 years but I'm 99% sure I was not the artist from these doodles. I like how I just didn't erase them. The writing is definitely mine though.

There is also a LibreVox recording. Some of the chapters have different narrators. The first few are read dully. I prefer reading because I don't like how narrators read most of the time. However, in terms of accessibility, it's a good and clear recording. It's on Spotify premium and on YouTube.

I've read a fair few Greek myths in different retellings (Percy Jackson's Greek God's, Mythos, Bulfinch, Edith Hamilton) but I think I like James Baldwin' Old Greek Stories my favorite. Probably because he wrote them as "simply as stories". (It's in public domain and free)

I need to scale back because I'm doing that thing when I get overwhelmed and just do nothing. I need to reread the 44 chapters left of my fic. I haven't written a whole chapter in like 3 years. So maybe the goal in November is to just get out a real chapter (~4,000 words)

Fanfiction is writing and I will die on this hill. I have a whole 200,000+ words plot that is not in the show. I've taken the characters and background and expanded it. I spent a lot of work on it. I have pages of notes on plot, character arc, and theme. People also like reading it so that's a bonus

So preptober without the official nanowrimo but there's Nano 2.0 and ProWritingAid doing it, and there's other. Finally re-reading my 56 chapters fic since almost 4 years because I got hit by a car. I'm making a summary of each chapter.

If anyone is going to a No Kings protest, DO NOT REGISTER ONLINE. That's not how protest works and don't willingly give your information online. You don't know who is looking. I think a lot of people are new to protesting but it is weird to register a protest. Don't do it.

(Bulfinch's is abridged, unfortunately, but I got it from a library sale for $1. That's why the cover is messed up. The pages are so old but in great condition. And sprayed edges from the 60s?)

I want to read all of them. I've started all of them. (Electra and Other Plays were started in July and then I took a break on it. So only 3 recently.)

I also want to watch Hell's Kitchen. I don't understand why I like it so much. This is like the perpetual ADHD problem.
