#birds Branches in the way but still fun to take pictures of 2 red tailed hawks. They were fighting. I assume they are married and it was the husbands fault.

#birds Green herons can "fish". They will drop things in the water, causing minnows to swim near the surface, giving them a chance to nab them. This Green Heron did this for about a half hour in a rather gymnastic way today. Sherburne NWR.

#birds Cedar Waxwing. Because they eat so much fruit, Cedar Waxwings occasionally become intoxicated or even die when they run across overripe berries that have started to ferment and produce alcohol.
