Also: Hollis-kitten spent his first complete night loose outside of the living room. I woke up at 4:30 am with him curled up on me and with Muriel other comfy bed at the foot of my bed. Both were sleeping soundly.

When your coworker offers you a lift home (it’s on his way) so that you can get there earlier to see your newly-adopted kitten and says he’s off at 5:00, then goes MIA chatting with someone until 5:30. I’d be home by now.

I have too much peopling to do today. I have to go to the bank to withdraw money since my debit card doesn’t work. I need to do this since I’m meeting the new kitty in a little over five hours and the rescue wants his fee paid in cash. Then I have to meet them at a pet store to sign things.

I need to fine-tune the timing of preparing dinner vs. anticipating an edible to hit. I usually heap toppings on pita pizza. Instead I took the easy route w/pizza sauce, a few pinches of herbs/spices, plant-based mozza, and sliced green olives.
