Up to this day many of us are equally enraged by violating women's right to chose between pants and skirts... as well as enraged by look of men in skirts. This is double standarts, and this is bad.

For women, that era was weird also, but this is hour our biased vision works - we expect more conservative look from men than from women.

Some experiments were too bold and short-lived. But because of this explosion of weirdness, we have better choice now than in 50s. It was worth it. And on top of that, there is one thing that is worth noting. Nowdays when people criticize 70s fashion, they usually point at 70s men fashion.

To create something new, some amount of drafts should be made and some errors should be done. 60s and 70s were weird, but it came after super-conservative 50s. It was like a pendulum swinging back like a pressure cooker that exploded from the pressure and splattered the walls with multi-colored goo.

Japanese #jg1 #transformers vibe. This funny and super-primitive sketch was done one year ago for a little contest of fast sketches. I tried to show dynamic swordfight which was distinctive feature of japanese 1987-1989 trilogy.

Made last year for a contest. A sketch of drac bandits #ambush ing alien traders in docking area of some sci-fi world. Big 1500lbs #dragon uses polymer bandage to restrict #giant 4400lbs guard for a time to let small dracs do their job. Still traders have a chance to fight back.

Working with AI, you have to deal with some repititative difficulties, because trying to avoid them only produces another difficuilties. That's not too hard, but also not too easy. Working with AI isn't completely smooth experience.

But you can't prevent it by describing that details in every prompt, cuz it makes that promt too big, so AI loses focus.

Another difficulty is that AI tends to forget some details, suddenly replacing non-standard traits like wolfish features in centaur's face with more "standard" like in "standard" centaurs from greek mythology.

So, I think that working with AI still requires combined work, including prompts, combining resulting images in editor (like Photoshop) and hand painting on top of that to fix minor bugs and sew pieces together.

Some frames are easy, some are broken no matter what. Also, AI generally tends to do some unwanted things like big heads, despite I ask it to keep proportions of extra tall creatures with relatively small heads.

My humble experiments of making illustrated story of undead ogre confronting lycan centaur entirely with AI instruments. Conclusion: with complex (many limbed or giant+undead) characters it may be complicated to force AI to do it right.

USA's direct military aid, as well as Netanyahu's plan to occupy Gaza are controversial things, firstly because of possible negative outcome to Izrael self. But as well as I know, Kirk supported Israel in general, as I do, while I struggle to guess what plan of solving Gaza situation is the best.

How monster chess were done using Chat GPT 5 and DALL-E. Of course, there are only few figures on my sketch, but I still leave possibility of more pics with demon and dragon playing monster chess, so it can be useful later.
