for merch this week I got in another set of Yamada cards that friend was kind enough to send!

I was low-key debating duping the set bc I hated my Yamada pull

Here's the pulls! Only 1 of 3 is diff from what I've already pulled but I got a unobstructed Yamada PC sooo I'm happy!

This one has a flap on the slipcover. The case again uses character arts for the cover.

The amaray and booklet continue the two tone look with the main color and then black.

Booklet is again mostly the same with a bit more detail on a couple of the disc extras.

I love the foiled holo cover!

This set uses a digipak with some nice art of Rei and Shinji!

It also has both language tracks with 6.1 trueHD ofc the Funi dub

The gkids design is definitely much simpler. I would guess this more reflects the style of the Japanese release

Booklet is also mostly the same between the sets

Slipcase with infosheet!

Slipcase is textured, looks lovely with the HOLO🌈✨

On disc extras are basically the same between the sets but Eva has the tv spots adverts for the home video releases

This set has 5.1 trueHD for the EN and 6.1 trueHD for JP and is the Prime dub

Underneath the spacer is the artbook! There's a ribbon attached to the base to help lift out the book

The book is chock full of info and very nice quality! Hardcover with gold foil and sewn binding!

The outbox has really nice gold foiled runes and stylized to loo like a worn grimoire

It looks cheap tbh some weird inbetween of plastic and leather or smthg, my main grip after that is the "bevels" are printed on so even from just unboxing the print already has worn away a bit...🥲

The briefcase does have hardware, metal buckles but a plastic handle

Frieren Limited Edition has arrived!!

Glad it arrived safe since it arrived in a box pretty much the exact same size

last merch for this week haul I got in two more To Be Hero X red boxes!

Still no nice yet... debating to just go and buy nice separately (though seems the aftermarket for his and Xs cards are the worst 😭)

Now the box~

The box is clear plastic with a paper insert wih packaging info. On the rear side a product image and the other side I used for my photo background

The other part with shading is the hair and it definitely helps to elevate it!

She comes preattached to the base but despite being only on one leg she's pretty sturdy!

The base has nice foil detailing!
