Just finished these rocket ship paintings. Oil on canvas on panel, 16" sq. When I was a kid rockets were cool: the race to the moon, the transcendent movie 2001.
Now that the Muskers are in the rocket business, I'm reminded more of the V2, the 1st large scale application of rockets. Ambiguously bad.

Some older watercolors I made to give my daughter some sense of home after she had moved away from California.

Pasadena Waldorf School.
I recently came across this watercolor which I made over 20 years ago. My daughter attended the school which was completely destroyed in the Altadena/Eaton Canyon fire. What a sad loss. #pasadenawaldorfschool #maypole #watercolor #eatonfire
