A House Of Dynamite seems to have divided the room, literally in my house because I enjoyed it, but my wife and youngest daughter were underwhelmed.
I suspect that growing up under the threat of imminent nuclear immolation in the 80's has primed me to enjoy stuff like this. So I did.

Looking For A Day In The Night by The Lilac Time has finally been re-released, and for those of us who put our CD collections in the attic twenty years ago, it's appearance on streaming services spares us from irritating YouTube Playlists, and is an opportunity for others to discover it.

The tragic remains of the Huly Hill Stone Circle, at Newbridge, West of Edinburgh. A manicured mound and less than a handful of stones, next to two motorways, separated from the huge outlier on the east side of the junction. There are other stones and marked rocks nearby. #StandingStoneSunday

However, this only holds true if the sunken city of "R'lyeh" is actually a raised bed in our back garden, and "Cthulhu" is a rather grumpy and misshapen carrot

An excellent summary from the invariably astute Mr G. Angela Rayner is mainly being punished for being Angela Rayner. I'm intrigued to see what she is able to achieve from the back benches, I think she will be ferocious. The Tories and Reform should be very worried about what they wished for.
Two things can be true at once. Rayner was foolish in her conduct and right to resign. It’s also true she was always despised by much of the right wing press because she was a working class powerful woman.

The new @suedehq.bsky.social album 'Antidepressants' is released today. I loved them back in the day, but I have been consistently blown away by their releases over the last dozen years or so. They are in the form of their lives, 'Antidepressants' sounds MAGNIFICENT 🙌

I live north of Murrayfield, and in my experience anyone within a couple of kilometres of Murrayfield is basically at the Oasis gig this evening. Incredibly loud.
