"The African American unemployment rate has surged over the past four months, from 6 to 7.5 percent, while the rate for white people ticked down slightly to 3.7 percent. On top of a slowing economy, the White House’s actions have disproportionately harmed Black workers... "

Yet we have Black MAGA 🙄

Of course, he would call for the pardon of a corrupt leader.

Ted Dutch, yes, a people who have been robbed of their country and oppressed for decades are likely to resist. Your solution, like Netanyahu, is to demolish them rather than have a just solution. Your propaganda conveniently overlooks the history of the taking of Palestinian land all the way to 10/7

I was trying to stay for commentary. So far Richard Hass was very discerning and spot on. I realize it's an event you must cover. But, I can't watch much more. Let me know when it's done.

What a gross, trivial, childish, rude, vindictive dunce. Pathetic speech.
michaelbuiefilms.bsky.social
Trump, you aren't worth a pimple on @barackobama.bsky.social backside... 🙄

Richard Hass just demonstrated an amazing grasp of what Netanyahu's speech means, what it says, and the incredible lack of solutions it offered. It was a giant pat on his own back and Trump's, with no vision of a path forward for the region... Only Israel.

I used to staunchly support Israel and speak against "terrorist attacks" until I investigated the original acts and ongoing injustices committed against the Palestinians. Israeli policies perpetuated conflict and offer no hope for normalization of a relationship between Israel and Palestinians.

Netanyahu's revisionist history ignores the hard-line conservative Israelis who have oppressed & terrorized Palestinians since 1948, and that the cause of Oct 7th is a conflict they refuse to resolve with any sense of humanity. The settlements, bulldozed homes, jailing women and youth, daily horror

Netanyahu called the Iran nuclear deal a disaster, but Trump's rejection of it was the disaster, with no solution achieved.

I am happy there may be hope for the Palestinians that they may no longer be bombed into oblivion and starved to death, and joy for Israelis that they have the remaining hostages and the end to constant war.

The only way an American president would have real power over this conflict is if they told Israel unless they stopped there will be no more aid and no more weapons. It had reached that point when the majority of Americans and even a large number of Jews in this country became aghast it was over.
michaelbuiefilms.bsky.social
Let's be real. It is the outrage of the Israeli genocide that turned the world against what Israel was doing that made this possible. If Kamala Harris were president today we would be talking about how remarkable her accomplishment, was because the president really little power over this outcome.

I know that. I was a contractor. Contractors are paid for actual work... They're not permanent. Contractors make more than permanent people.
michaelbuiefilms.bsky.social
TRUMP IS THREATENING NOT TO GIVE THEM BACKPAY.
michaelbuiefilms.bsky.social
I was wondering why you and I are debating. I get it. Your focus is how contractors are harmed. OK.

I agree with that. Contractors make 2/3 of the government work force. I think they deserve consideration.

I took issue with your suggestion permanent workers who are smart don't have money issues.
michaelbuiefilms.bsky.social
Excellent job taking Johnson to task. They miscalculated
michaelbuiefilms.bsky.social
If your issue is about contactors, it's a non-issue. Contractors rarely get backpay for pay lost during a shutdown anyway. It's the permanent workers who normally do. They are the ones at risk.
michaelbuiefilms.bsky.social
So you talk to Donald Trump? You know who he means when he says some workers don't deserve back pay?
michaelbuiefilms.bsky.social
Bro... I think you need to look at the economic reality of the lower and middle tiers of the middle class. Research it. People aren't dumb because they are overwhelmed by the cost of living.

Not having @maragay.bsky.social sit with @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social interview is a missed opportunity. She really has the pulse of NYC. @maya4rights.bsky.social would have also been a good fit for that interview. Joe is asking good political questions. But you could have used some home-grown Q's
