I will say though many of these repeat speakers are maybe maintainers. Not the people I am calling out here. Nor actually the people it’s not their fault their face fits and they are great speakers. But the org!
I see the continued repeat speakers and face fits to speak at #KubeCon

I will not submit to speak or submit at the @CloudNativeFdn events because this has been a trend each and every year.

It’s not very community! I have stopped submitting for 2+ years now

I think I am going to “vibe” code a demo app this weekend.

Goals:

Microservice architecture
Golang flavoured
Data services galore

Something interesting and fun.

If there's one thing the Kubernetes ecosystem needs, it's another abbreviated name with a 'K' in it.

I changed the Kollect repo from public off the back of some strange requests and PRs.

For now as a pet project I will keep tinkering and learning.

Needs more AI….

It's very overwhelming to consider lists on all these platforms.... I need a better way (again) to tackle:

- YouTube watch later
- Backlog of my podcasts (across spotify and audible)
- Audible long list of audiobooks!
- emails / reports / blogs

My biggest takeaway from afar of Red Hat Summit 2025 is LLM-d

llm-d.ai

Sure, lots of chatter about virtualisation but this project stood out to me. Could this be the defacto inference serving stack going forward?

Well that wasn’t expected. It started as a stride / speed session which would have been around 6km. Then we grabbed a PB with a bit more.

Had a great day out yesterday at the home of Rugby.

My local team made it to their final and got to play there yesterday. Despite the final result they have ticked a box that not many get to do.

Jealous and proud of the Stamford Town Rugby lads and whole club for showing up
