I have so many conflicting things in my head regarding this. Since leaving religion I have tried to be a skeptic, and not believe anything I have 0 evidence for, so conspiracy theories are antithetical to my ideology.
But, umm.. this is all weird.

Its unfortunately easier to tear things down, to not read a book to not try to understand nuance/somebody elses position, to listen to your reptilian brain, to hate who others tell you to hate, to not try to understand science, to not (if you have to worship) invent whole cloth an angry vengeful god
