A code freeze is a sign of a dying business.

It's an admission that the organization doesn’t trust its own ability to ship safely.

I'm enjoying the devx of @better_auth.

Didn't think this level of DX and flexibility was possible.

Frontend development moves in cycles.

"Everything is a <Table />" 2003 - 2010
"jQuery" 2010 - 2013
"Bootstrap" 2013 - 2016
"Material Design" 2016 - 2019
"Tailwind / Headless" 2019 - 2022
"Shadcn" 2022 - 2025

In 2026, what's next ?

@shadcn makes my life so much easier. It's the perfect fit for AI dev. Thx.

"Cognitive Load" is the most important aspect of building with AI.

The more succinct and concise your prompt is the better the outcome.
January 14, 2026 at 12:57 PM
"Colocation" is one of the most underestimated technique to reduce "Cognitive Load".

I can't find a way to do a simple link with a symbol in vscode. It should be as simple as `// file.ts#myFuSymbol`.

Every time I code past midnight, I feel so productive. Then, the next day: "What kind of drug did I take ?"

dagger.io is the generation of CI. Writing a CI pipeline in TypeScript that works locally is so satisfying.

I've been using @notion.com for about 2 years. It's an amazing tool; the API is great and the table feature is a powerhouse of productivity.

But how can the spacing be so bad? I am losing a third of my screen with their header alone.

@notion.com please do something. It drives me crazy.

Just realized it's been 10 years since I first created my GitHub account.

I feel nostalgic and old at the same time. 🤣

I've been using @scriptkit.com for about 2 years now. I started sponsoring @johnlindquist.com because his app brought me so much value.

For fun, I'll track how many times I run @scriptkit.com in a week just to see how addicted I am to it.

I just read the proposal from @Anthony Fu. At first, I was skeptical, then intrigued, and ended up skeptical again.

I feel like this is a proposal to remove the psychological aspect of major releases by adding an additional `Epoch` number.

Definitely not a bad idea, but I am still not convinced.
Proposing an extended SemVer -

🗿 Epoch Semantic Versioning

to communicate better about versions.

Thinking of adopting this to all my projects, and finally eliminating my lousy habit of forever zero-major practice 😜

What do you think? 👀
