1/3

I have to decide on a title for my #TorontoFringe play.

i) Perfect Symmetry

Or

ii) Jane Austen’s Odyssey

Here’s the thinking on each. Which do you prefer?

(The play tells the story of how Jane had to fight against traditional ideals for women in order to get her novels published)

Jane Austen fans, were you happy with the celebrations, events etc in honour of her 250th birthday?

Not enough? Too much? Just right?

I watched California Suite for the first time last evening, based on the 1976 Neil Simon play. What an incredible cast!

I got fifth spot on the wait list for the Fringe Festival!!!

This means I might get relatively short notice that I can produce my play ( for six actors, about the life of #JaneAusten ).

I’ve never produced or directed a play.

How much time will I need to prepare a play for the Fringe?
