A digital box set of my Cantus Orbis mixes from the last decade are now available for download. Four albums that focus on drone heavy/repetitive music written between the 5th / 15th centuries. I don’t own any of this so encourage you to take the ‘free’ option: iamplinth.bandcamp.com/album/cantus...
@gregbuzwell.bsky.social is that a Sheila Flinn as your profile pic?

Jack Shepherd: English actor and star of Wycliffe dies at 85
He will be remembered for his roles as TV detective Charles Wycliffe and fictional Labour MP Bill Brand.

If you’re of a certain vintage, it’s happy big 50 to the eeriest, most evocative piece of music and TV intro of all time. I can hear it wafting in from my parents front room when I was meant to be asleep, the neon bottle floating in to view.

Did not have this on my bingo-card. The first LP is a thing of still beauty.

This will be a stunner.
I recently delivered my sleevenotes for this boxset. I can't wait for people to hear it. 7 CDs & a DVD filled with the most incredible music, much of it previously unreleased. Dick Gaughan is, of course, one of the greats. This set makes that fact blindingly & brilliantly clear, time and time again
