I used to write quite prolifically on the bird site, convinced that I had something to add, that my opinions deserves wide reach, and that my words were “making a difference”. After deleting my account there, and detoxing, I’m not quite sure how I’m going to use this one.

I’m what you’d call reasonably progressive, I mean I’d fall short of actually eating a billionaire myself, me and my wife have three kids, and some of my eco-warrior comrades scorn my selfish, planet killing breeder ways

Also, they know full well they can defer their rates payments till they sell the house or they can let their estate cover the rates, but house property values are a sacred cow in this country so they pretend that option doesn’t exist
