Council tax confusion. Council tax bands F-H are to be revalued to decide which properties are worth over £2 million and thus liable for the mansion tax. Is this new banding to be used to assess council tax as well? This would mean a huge increase in council tax for bands F-H.

Elections for posts in the LibDems start today. My vote for President goes to Prue Bray and for Vice President Kamran Hussain. The other candidates are fine people but as new MPs they should be devoting their time to their voters not adding another full time job to their already heavy workload

So there has been an almighty cockup in releasing a man who was due to be deported. (Apparently he tried several times to return to prison but was turned away) Or could it be a conspiracy to divert attention from Reform’s rather poor performance in local and Welsh elections? We should be told.

I imagine that those people who voted for Trump to punish the Democrats over Gaza must be having severe buyer regret given his latest pronouncements.

I wonder if Trump understands what tariffs actually are? He seems to think that they're a one way street. I am not sure he realises that they hurt Americans by putting up prices in the USA. I think he believes they only hurt the countries he's imposing them on.
