That's great work...I hope you continue. I wouldn't characterize all, by the few you've met. Some of the biggest anti poverty and peace movements were and are led by Christians. It comes down to teaching ultimately.

I think we are all very smart people that can understand when someone truly believes something, and when they are just using it to their own ends

No one "needs" to be anything, that doesn't mean you can't be.

And...unless I'm missing something, it's not all Christians performing the actions in my examples. In fact I would argue none of these are actually religious actions at all, and are in fact "nationalist" actions.

I mean...are you really asking this as one country bombs the living mess out of its neighbor, others use their Navy to keep immigrant people's at bay, and others invade for territorial gain? Yea...people need to be reminded...over and over again. We all do selfish hurtful shtt to one another.

You can pick any book off the shelf and squeeze just about any justification you need out of it...but as a Christian I try to remind myself of Christ's commandments specifically...Love God, and love your neighbor as you would yourself.

I'm good. I'm quite sure my views would be seen heretical by other Christian but I believe this Universe (God) will reach you how you need to be reached. If Humanism works for you, God bless it. I'm happy for you.

Just about everything modern folks have succumb to has become cultlike and idolatrous. I think the goal here is to find the one with the least negative impact on self and others. That's a struggle in and of itself.

I'm just telling you why Christian Nationalist don't abide by OP's statement. I actually agree with OP...as a Christian I don't bring people to Christ bludgeoning them to death, I do so through example. Actually quite counter to the CN and Evangelical position

You're mixing up two things. Christianity used as a means to power by a very specific few, and Christianity as a spiritual practice that acts a as a gateway to deep meaning and relationship to life. They are talking about the latter.

This is good analysis. I think she's reading the Maga tea leaves too...remember MTG is of Maga and most of the GOP just used Maga (DJT included). From how the admin used CK's death, to higher costs on everything and now Qatar, Maga is slowly turning on him. MTG is positioning herself for the furure.

Idk if they are voices of "reason" (at least not Loomer)...they are just coming to the same realization half the country already has, DJT does not care about anyone but himself. They were told this...by HIM, and they have refused to believe.

MTG is closer to Maga than other Gop politicians...she is Maga, the pretended to be. She is reading the tea leaves and pivoting. How DJT used CK, the ugliness of the ICE raids, no movement on people's everyday needs, now Qatar...Maga is disillusioned

You know what...I didn't see that part, only the part with the journalist because i saw it on CBS and it was played like a "we got her!". I don't respect that either actually.
