I enjoy watching the Sixers this year, I really do, fun team. But the local TV announcers are a rough watch - the homerism is so over the top, EVERY adverse foul call is questioned to death. I think Zach Lowe referred to them as “Pravda” which is spot on.

I dislike the Celtics. Intensely. But I absolutely loved “Celtics City” - not sure I’ve seen a long form documentary so immersive and entertaining. My favorite part - Bill Simmons chatting with his Dad. Took the macro story and brought it to that personal level that fuels so much fandom.

I dislike the Celtics. Intensely. But I absolutely loved “Celtics City” - not sure I’ve seen a long form documentary so immersive and entertaining. My favorite part - Bill Simmons chatting with his Dad. Took the macro story and brought it to that personal level that fuels so much fandom.
Have to hand it to the Magic there, everything was going against them with 2 minutes left but they kept it together. Choppy, sort of fun game to watch.
