especially when significant portions of the game are designed Specifically to slow down said intended design of "fly through levels as fast as possible", i.e. enemy battle rooms, switch doors, etc

holy shit sonic unleashed is Ass. never saw gameplay of it until today and Wow. i'd say you gotta be maximum level rose tinted glasses to say that's your favorite sonic game but as far as i've seen i don't know if there Is a good sonic game so maybe fans of the series are just used to playing trash
