I made it here too! Hi, I'm Mido from Finland. I love spending my freetime making art of all kinds. I make traditional illustrations, comics, avatars and emotes. I work with markers, ink, watercolor, gouache and digital.

Amongst all the bullshit I got suddenly hit by yet another crisis that I can't even work on solving until Monday.

Saga continues. Unlike all the rumors, I've received humane treatment. Nurse of the unemployment services deemed me too burnt out to be able to work. She said it was super rare that a counselor would notice that so fast and send me to receive healthcare support. Got sick leave until at least April.

My unemployment counselor rocks tho. Because one of the first things she said was: "I have one rule for you. Even if it takes a while for you to find a job, don't start feeling guilt for it at any point. You've seen the statistics, we both know it's not your fault that you're in this situation."

I had my first unemployment office appointment today. 5 minutes after the appointment, the updated statistics were published showing that Finland now has the highest unemployment rate in the entire EU.

Had a blast at the Babybeard show yesterday! My voice is shot, my arms hurt from pumping them, my neck is destroyed from moshing and my heart is full from fun.
I also painted them a lil card. The fan meeting was so sweet with hugs and laughter!

Finally got around to trying Astro Bot and the level Trunk of Funk is completely unplayable for me.
There is some sort of constant high frequency chirping sound (like a grasshopper type bug maybe) in the level and it's hurting a fuckton and caused a migraine attack.
Such an accessibility oversight.

Our government passed a law to loosen up the regulations of wolf hunting.
The law came into effect on the 1st of January.

In just 24 hours, 3% of our entire wolf population was killed.

On top of the economy, this government clearly aims to destroy our ecology as well... 🫩

Saw a dream last night where the next gacha / blind box craze was a series of small plush keychain food cats. I unboxed this weird mischievous corn cat.
It haunted me so. I had to doodle it on my phone on the train.
