Imo true crime has to be the thing that gets entirely ruined by the "fandom". It's not my cup of tea but I'd have more respect for it if I didn't see people treat stories about real murders like discussions on the latest Stranger Things episode or something

Yeah, it feels like the Tumblr exodus was the cataclysm to things getting worse for artists online. While Insta and Twt have a bigger reach, they are far worse when it comes to posting art, but all Tumblr artists had to move to those sites. DeviantArt became worse around this time too

A couple of months ago I saw a post here about how they had fixed the "show me less of this" option (since you'd click it and it'd still show you more of that) and it seemed to work for a while but it's back to being broken,,,

Specially upsetting when you go to someone for help, like if I'm asking you it's because Internet wasn't helpful so why would you then ask the machine that gets its answers from the Internet and it also gets a lot of stuff wrong

I think that art communities growing on instagram was a mistake because the website has never been good for artists but also given that there's no other alternative I get why some moved there... I guess the best thing we can do is to branch out to many websites, but that sucks

Aparte de que las IAs consumen insanas cantidades de energía y agua, lo que hace ChatGPT lo puede hacer un historiador de verdad y además lo hará mucho mejor, porque las IAs inventan cosas cuando no las saben
