Gotta wonder how last night's election results will affect, say, John Roberts' views on the constitutionality of Trump's tariffs. As a powerful GOP operative Roberts and the other rightwing judges must see that ending the tariff nonsense is in the longterm interest of their party.

Maybe I'm a fool, but isn't a cease-fire broken the moment airstrikes resume? It's not being tested at that point, right? It's broken. Why can't The NY Times report it that way?

It's darkly funny that Trump's fans are defending him by claiming he's much too stupid and inarticulate to use the word "enigma" in a sentence. That's not true, by the way. He called Ben Carson an enigma during a 2015 campaign rally. It's on video.

I often get annoyed with NPR but I appreciated their interview this morning with Mamdani, in which they discussed the bigotry he has faced since his primary victory. They called it what it is, which was refreshing.

All Supreme Court justices are political operatives. That said, I'm confident the liberals would maintain a consistent position on universal injunctions if Democrats controlled the White House. I'm also confident the conservatives would reverse their position in that scenario.
