Sometimes it was more fun to listen to a bad game because Bob would fill the boring moments with colorful yarns and great jokes. He's the only announcer the Brewers have ever known. I can't think that Brewers radio broadcasts will be anything but pedestrian going forward. Rest in peace, Mr Baseball.

I can't really process the loss of Bob Uecker. The mere sound of his voice meant 'Summer' to me. Especially lazy Sunday afternoons with a soft warm breeze and the smell of grass and Bob's voice drifting through the yard. His sense of humor was incredible.

More and more they are showing up here. Just like when FB took over MySpace. I have never liked FB but it's where everyone went.

So...it's a new world here. I never much cared for FB, always liked MySpace better, hopefully FB joins MySpace in the Social Media Dustbin of History.
