Last week, UTA hosted 400 of the swollest people alive at the Official Strongman Games World Final. We sent @whereskr.bsky.social to find out what it's like -- and what it's like when one of your best friends is among them. I loved this story:

For years, and for reasons bigger than football, Post Malone's name sat atop the Cowboys wishlist of Thanksgiving performers. This year, they finally got him.

David Moore spoke to Charlotte Jones to find out how tomorrow's halftime show came to be:

It must be said that @brianphillips.bsky.social is one of the great writers of our time and a very nice dude. It must also be said that he should be put on trial for this lede (which I definitely laughed very hard at)

The Thanksgiving cutoff is upon us, and in spite of more than a few bumps along the way, the Stars have a lot to be thankful for.

Here's @seanshapiro.bsky.social on why so many teams would love to be where Dallas is heading into the holiday:

The Cowboys could not hope for more out of George Pickens, and he's the right age to build around. This should be easy, right?

@riversmccown.bsky.social knows as well as the rest of us that it's never that simple with this team. How does Dallas play this?

The minute you start doing that, you may as close up shop
Saw a post today that advised writers to stop writing as if a human will read it and start writing for an LLM that will be summarising.

As someone who really enjoyed trying to develop a peculiar but readable authorial voice, I find this incredibly depressing.

Good news: the Cowboys' win on Monday was legitimately impressive.

Bad news: they need three more of those in a row to stay alive in the postseason hunt.

Once again, the Rangers are signaling they won't do much spending this offseason. That would be a big mistake.

The Mavs need a GM. Turns out I know a guy: our food critic, @reinhart.bsky.social.

what the fuck are we DOING here
Panera’s moderately caffeinated lemonade was loosely associated with 2 deaths before it was taken off market.

This article alone has 4 examples of ChatGPT encouraging young people to commit suicide, and OpenAI’s own public stats estimate over a million users discuss suicide with ChatGPT each week.
I fully believe in the corporate death penalty and believe we would be a better world if OpenAI lost its corporate charter and was forcibly dissolved.
