Caspian terns currently are on their way to the species' wintering grounds in southern Florida, Mexico, and the Caribbean. This individual was one of a nearly a dozen having around Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge this past weekend.

One of two Lincoln's sparrows that were chirping up a storm at the Patuxent Research Refuge. These incredible sparrows are migrating now from Canada to their wintering grounds in Mexico and the southern United States.
