With rising food insecurity and global price uncertainty, it's more important than ever to protect our farmland.

This Thanksgiving say thanks to Ontario farmers by buying local.

Ontario's farmland is a precious resource that is vital to protect.

This #OntarioAgricultureWeek I'm feeling thankful for the land that feeds us and the farmers that steward it while growing our food.

Thank you to the organizers for putting together such a powerful event. I’m committed to continuing to call out and fight back against anti-Semitism and anti-Palestinian hate in our community.

It means a lot to me to be among so many community members calling for peace in the Middle East and an end to the occupation in Gaza.

It's hard to overstate just how far backwards the Ford government has taken us on climate.

The rest of the world is using the shift toward renewables to generate jobs and prosperity, meanwhile the Premier has no plan at all.

Sending my best wishes to the Jewish community for Yom Kippur.

Marked by fasting and repentance, the Day of Atonement offers an opportunity to look forward with hope to the year ahead. Yom Kippur reminds those of all faiths of the importance of self-reflection and renewal.

As a former farm kid, it's great to meet a young farmer keeping the family tradition alive.

I had the chance to chat with Austin from TruPure Farms about the challenges of getting started as a young regenerative farmer in Ontario.

And we will continue to fight against harmful legislation, like Bill 5, which undermines Indigenous rights and respectful nation-to-nation relationships.

Thank you to the team at the Woodland Cultural Centre for the hospitality and their work honouring and teaching Indigenous history.

Ontario Greens will continue to urge the Ford government to listen to the Indigenous leaders calling for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to be recognized as a provincial statutory holiday in Ontario.

As elected leaders, we have a responsibility to undertake the work of building respectful nation-to-nation relationships with Indigenous nations who are still fighting to protect their cultures, languages, lives, land and livelihoods today.

It was a powerfully emotional experience to listen to the stories of survivors prior to touring the interpretive historic site.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is an important opportunity to confront Canada’s history of sustained and systemic violence against Indigenous peoples.

I will never forget the day in QP when pointed me out in the gallery before I was elected and said that I should be allowed to ask a question because he was upset with the opposition questions coming his way.

My thoughts are with his friends, family and colleagues.

Sad to learn of Jim Bradley’s passing.

Jim served Ontario for decades and was instrumental in bringing about many of the environmental regulations that have preserved the beauty of our province.

I remain committed to working across party lines and in close partnership with Francophone communities across Ontario to protect access to services in both French and English, and to support the educators who make bilingualism a reality for so many.

As someone who has taken on the challenge of learning French later in life, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the critical role that French teachers play in helping keep the French language alive and well in Ontario.

It's time for the provincial government to invest in solutions to the systemic policy failings that are forcing people to go hungry: deeply affordable homes, a higher minimum wage, doubling ODSP and OW rates to end legislative poverty.

Today I visited the Daily Bread Food Bank in Etobicoke.

Their work and all the volunteers they engage help feed thousands and thousands of people at more than 205 food banks and meal programs in Toronto.
