Going to replace the gpu power with right angle, perhaps rgb cords so they don’t loop ridiculously. But just waiting on a couple more fans and then I’ll stitch it back up.

I am disappointed that no one has started using AI generated videos to teach crows how to do neat stuff like make and use tools or take over society.

It’s weird to think that not everyone feels the same drive to create stuff. In a way, I wish other people could feel that same pull, but then I remember the anxious feeling I get when I don’t spend all of my time working on a project and I’m just like, you know what? Y’all may be onto something.

Had to design my own case because my wiring was a *work of art* (ie. Bad). But it functions!

Having soldered header pins on a pi zero 2 W, I can honestly say I’d be happy never doing that again in my lifetime.

Just about finished with the personal cooler. Lessons learned for version 2, but it works well. Cooling coil was flattened and no longer visible but resides beneath the main enclosure. Finishing up wiring, just crammed them away for photos haha.

Just a friendly reminder, a long sword in a scabbard on one’s back in most cases, is too long to be unsheathed by yourself.

Personal cooling unit updates:
Designed and printed backend chambers to house cooling material and pump, printing the frame that will hold the fan assembly, still need to design the control box at the top, but all wiring will be there to keep it out of the way of any water even if leaks happen.

A lot of people are probably unfamiliar with how I got into being a maker. So, since I decided to recreate the project that got me started, I figured I’d share. This is basically water cooling you’d use for removing heat from computers that I repurposed to dump ambient heat into ice.

I have been working on fixing the supply and return airflow for my central AC because the installers and the installers before them decided "not good at all" was "good enough".
It rained all day today, RH outside is 86% and I've been sitting at 46% RH all day and I'm literally so happy I could cry.
