This has been a strange year for holiday sales, Black Friday sales started at the beginning of the month and haven't stopped at all and it's still not even the actual Friday. What started off as a weekend has turned into a full month long consumer push that ruins the meaning of what a sale is?

To point 1, readymade garments first appeared in a time period where all clothing was being made custom either inside the home by a family member or on commission from a professional seamstress/tailor. Being able to go buy a "good enough" dress off the rack was an incredible time savings...

I have two things I would really like people to internalize about the fashion industry/garment manufacturing, and they are:
1. Mass manufactured clothes are only ever intended to fit "good enough," and;
2. Everything you wear was made by actual human people.

And folks this is why even if you choose not to be in a union--for whatever reason--you still owe your co-workers solidarity. The discussions were, seemingly,bcomparing salaries and talking about a company policy change to their slack server. Someone went to management and got 34 people fired.
PMG understands Rockstar became aware of these messages after at least one non-union member of the server raised concerns about these discussions with management and this either kicked off, or contributed to, a wider investigation.

I was in animation for film and met my future spouse who was like "lol we should make a game" and then we did make a game! And I realized I knew more esoteric information about games than movies and every game professor I met at my school was the nicest most supportive person ever
