Often found engaging miniature tigers 🐅 to (ignore) my bidding.
Surprise, poor data practice from another age verifier. Real IDs leaked. None of this gives me any confidence in the system.
OSA breaks my rule which has served me well: don't give real data to unimportant services.
Judge for yourself what they really need. Does Spotify need your DOB? Of course not.

Plaid getting too outraged lol. I'm not pro-private school, but this usage of them is not "denying children an opportunity to learn the Welsh language" it's preventing English speaking children being dropped into a school that doesn't serve them, just because their military parents were re-posted.

The tories would be funny if they weren't so tragic.
Pre-referendum civil service levels?
How, 9 years later, are they still sticking to their position that brexit has no negative impacts? Not even the moral courage to say they think the impacts are worth it, no - a complete denial of reality. Fools

The bloodsucker social cycle is exhausting, it goes something like this -
Meet a new and socially compatible person,
Have pleasant chats for a few weeks,
Realise you're the only one initiating,
Stop.
It all dies at that exact point.

When I recognise this I cut them dead, but it is still exhausting.

Terra Invicta - when the aliens attack my pride and joy heavily defended shipyard... and win despite my best efforts... I need to take a week off the game to get over it before I can carry on.

As nauseating as his cult was/is, I don't think Corbyn was/is antisemitic. Yet, because of that bs Tory mudsling, the current gov sycophancy for the international league of covering for Israel's atrocities politically, or whatever their official name is, is just another thing they're getting wrong.

Slightly better because it does include "Israeli" but... those tanks didn't open fire spontaneously. It was the Israelis inside them who decided to fire upon civilians.

Yes it was state misbehaviour, yes it's a survivor cohort and no it wouldn't be ok today - but the interviewed nuclear veteran is 87 and can form a coherent decision process. He's doing fairly well!

Rejecting the attempted rebrand of "aggressive" to "reactive". No, in the moment I just don't care *why* the dog is being aggressive, just that it *is*.

Solar high peak generation is great, offsetting more burning for longer is better. Spread panel angles within farm to broaden the offset time? Some advantages.

I don't approve of online abuse, but regardless, Vine ceasing to post cycling videos is probably a good thing. He was a rage baiter, conflict merchant. He often escalated when it was unnecessary, or performatively rode into situations he could see developing.
That's not a good contribution. 👋🐕.

Bit odd to be against anglicisation of words. Word import has been going on for all of human time, see: latinisation. Etymology is an entire field.
If you want to keep accents in "parmesan" go ahead! I won't, and do bear in mind that what you consider "original"... may not be. See: word import.

Today in the news - a mortgage company bleating about how 15 year mortgages are a favour to the borrower and not a possibility for obscene profits to be locked in.

Struggling to rationalise how 40% of the population of England have contacted their GP in the last month, on behalf of themselves or their household.
Is our health this poor?
Is my perspective biased by being relatively young?
It seems unbelievable.
April 21, 2025 at 5:18 PM
This "using GPs to keep people out of hospital" sounds good but... at least one of the services mentioned is something GPs used to do but now don't. This isn't a new idea, just going back to how things were before.

People who dislike others for having opinions are weird. We can disagree about the content of opinions but about having them? Nah.
I'm sorry my having opinions made you feel inadequate about your passive life.

If you may do what you like in international waters, such as installing deniable remote monitoring hardware, can I suggest this works both ways? 💥

These people need to get a grip.
Closing the carpark between autumn and spring when nobody's visiting the beach anyway? Not a big deal.
Heavy traffic for 6 months? Get over it.
Underground cable damaging habitats? I don't think so.

Stop inventing reasons for "I don't want it".
Boils my piss.

I hate to agree with her, but I don't think the era of globalisation is over either. That's a bit too americentric for me.
Has the world changed? Yes.
Is it going to take time to adapt? Yes.
Will we survive this? Yes.

Risk consciousness can be very limiting.

I like his style he likes mine, so go over to some guy's house at 1:30am within 15min of opener? Hold your horses!

But some people would do this and have a great time.
