There's a 3rd party one called Stickies that's pretty nice, & what I use. You can group them & stick them together and do stuff with formatting. The UI is a bit fiddly, but that's half the joy of strange 3rd party functional software I fink

There are a handful of nice forums still operating, and they always feel lovely to run across. I /am/ interested to see online communication structures that aren't social media, or intentionally retroactive forum arrangements, though. I'm not sure what it'd look like.

Wow, I didn't know about these. Thanks so much :~). The fogged-out heightmap terrain, and sort of equirectangular fisheye experiments are really gorgeous. This is wonderful.

The instant I realised 'Oh, it's more useful, interesting & nourishing to talk to people about art in person & on chatrooms than to post', I felt about 6 muscles unwind in my back.
Obviously it's unstable, strange, & somewhat difficult, but it does feel more easygoing, often.
