I got my copy of The Old King's Crown this week and I just finished setting up my first game. I have a feeling this game is going to be sitting on my table for a while.

Its probably going to take me a week just to look at all the details on every card

Played a game of Catan Starfarers tonight. This version of Catan is my favorite for 3 reasons:

1/You can't block others from expanding. (One of my biggest complaints of the original)

2/You get a cool upgradeable ship! 🚀

3/The different alien upgrades you can acquire when docking trade ships. 👽
My good friend and I play this every time we hang out! Always a HIT!
Azul is always such a fun puzzle!
Quacks is a family favorite in our house too!
I haven't tried Bullet <3 yet but it looks interesting. I can tell you that I'm the best potion exploder this side of Quedlinburg. My daughter always loves making fun of me for it.
😄
Lost Ruins of Arnak is in my top 10 games. The crunchy gameplay and stunning graphic design really makes it one of the best in its categories and the expansions just allow for more variability/asymmetry but not too much. Just enough to give the game a bit more pep.

Happy exploring!
We finished our first 4 player game of Arcs tonight and had an epic finish on the 5th round.

Game ended 26-25-14-13

We missed on scoring ambitions 4 times because we kept getting 3 way ties.

It was a long game but worth it in the end.

Thank you @leder.games for the great memories!
Wow Dan! Look at the ears on that thing! Looks great!

Makes me feel like I should make a starter again!
I just spent the rest of my Christmas money on an impulse buy. 😊
This game came up a TON when I first got into boardgaming and I remember how meh the game looked.

This new edition looks hot!
So I know I might be a bit late to crowdfunding since I've been in this hobby for a couple of years but I got my first Kickstarter this week!

Rebirth!

I honestly didn't think I would enjoy the experience but I have to give credit to the crew at Mighty Boards for doing such a fantastic job!
I've made it a habit to visit my local game store regularly but just to browse their inventory and ask about games they can order for me but not buy anything. My wallet has thanked me greatly this Christmas season.
I'm all set up for my first game! I'm going 2 handed solo to get the rules down.
Last time I checked, I had around 50 games and I've acquired 2 or 3 since then but I feel like I'm almost done. I won't buy games I don't know I'll ever play, but I'll trade for them with games I've played enough times.

I don't really want more than 75 games...

Maybe 80.
So I finally got some alone time to sit down and play Legacy of Yu! So I'm 3 games in and still 0-3 but I think the game finally "clicked" for me as I was thinking through my last turn, Now I can't get enough. What a fun puzzle!
I love how Quacks of Quendlinburg teaches my kids about making safer decisions early to stay ahead on the track instead of pushing their luck to get the die roll. #weekendatthecamp
Played HIVE for the first time today. 5 times in a row. Such fun strategies to explore.
I got a new phone! Someone stole my last one ... I'm glad I saved my blue sky password.

So yeah getting your phone stolen really sucks.
I keep walking by Red Rising at my LGS... I should probably pick it up.
Finally got Anachrony on the table! I think this one is a hit!
Our friends play ONUW regularly. We also got to try the vampires one as well. It adds an extra layer of complexity but it's actually pretty fun once everyone can get through the rules.
Is fun important? I guess it is in some ways important because, to me, the fun is the mid-game moment in time that makes you realize you're having fun. It's that feeling that you think of when you pull the box out the next time.

If you didn't have fun, would you pull that game out again?
Got Whistle Mountain to the table tonight! One of my all time favorite #boardgames.
