im not going to mince words. would be a shitty situation already if we were two healthy people. we aren't, so it's worse

my prescription medications range from $150 to $300 a month. my scoliosis is still getting worse at a shocking pace and we now cannot afford to get a scoli film from the hospital, let alone a brace. IVs for POTS would be $160 a month if i do biweekly.

i want to get vaccinated, and cannot. cvs tells me i cannot get a covid vax and an mmr booster, or even a regular flu vaccine, as they would each cost me $300 without insurance. i cannot pay $1000 to stay vaccinated. i do not have that kind of money. i will be forced to live inside again.

ive had to cancel all my appointments until further notice. in the span of a few days my ability to plan for anything other than the hour ahead has pretty much gone up in smoke. life forcibly put on pause by red tape designed to kill you super slow. nothing new but not pleasant either

i dont know. need to figure out what to do. i am tired of fighting to live

This seems like a bad episode for Smokes but it's more like a constant state of existence ... It's just also stressful to say nothing. Smokes wishes it could convey how scared it always is but this isn't fair to other people. So it usually stays quiet. Smiles and waves.

Smokes often feels like a ball of ugly traits rolled up into a single person. When trying to restrain yourself hurts but honesty makes people want to hurt you so you try to make yourself agreeable but other people are no more tolerant and you are no less weird. It doesn't even Make Art enough. Sorry

Smokes doesn't care about reach beyond people it thinks its art will actually interest, so Smokes basically just labels posts as courtesy to people who are searching for keywords and don't want jumpscares

Smokes has heard lots of people swear adamantly that all your adult/suggestive/nudity art MUST be labeled or you WILL kill your reach because the people who don't want to see it will block you (fair) and people will refuse to boost if it's unlabeled (Smokes have never seen this)
