He may see himself as one who was in that pit & wanted Atsushi to understand that its worth existing

Thinking about Dazai's wake up call slap for Atsushi and how his words could reflect both his past self who never wanted to live and his curiosity in Chuuya who wasn't 'supposed to exist' and yet fought to live against those odds

Meursalt's prison layout could have been based on Pan's notes about Verlaine considering a lot of the design seems to specifically counter a gravity user (The water??) The cells are similar to Rimbaud's Ability, illuminations

it’s becoming increasingly clear the goal of the far right is to defund and buy up every source of reliable information until there is no more objective reality to counter them

Every time I see people act cringy in tweets to manga artists and writers I want to reply how incredibly inappropriate some of them are (like saying they hope the author is hit by a bus bc they haven't seen their fave character)

That torn feeling of being happy to see more people come to bsky but the fear it'll turn into the TwT discourse machine bc we just accept bad etiquette instead of calling people out on it
