Good Morning! Happy Sunday! The light was pretty good Yesterday evening so we blasted down to Lajes to try to scoop up a few images in the evening light #photography

Going into Lajes on the Main Street headed SE in the early evening light!

Yeah the weather is slowing a little here and I will be cracking the Manhattan project back out and trying to master it!. I am down right now for anything less than 720nm. The battery and charger for my full spectrum body both died simultaneously. Hopefully the replacements arrive before New Year’s

It is for being a speck on a map in the Atlantic a photographic cornucopia. The trick is going to be not running myself out of subject matter. I will be studying subjects more carefully than a one or two & done. It will happen eventually. I am shooting and reading then revisiting and shooting again

I bought a brand new Caddy from Eero VW in Anchorage in 82.
It remains all this time later the best economy (52 miles per gallon diesel) and the best ice and snow rig I have ever owned.
Traveled the Alcan with it in February. I never thought to grab a Bow Wow sticker for it!

It is all volcanic here. They achieve al kinds of different looks with the materials on hand. The concrete pointed in white with the exposed rocks and the stucco style wall and the stacked stone mortared and and fit together. I will gather a few different looks up for you. It is kind of interesting.
