Had a good exchange with France Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot today. We discussed the US-led peace process to end the war in Ukraine and our shared approach: support Ukraine and pressure Russia. We stay aligned to help achieve a just and sustainable peace.

I had a good exchange today with Ecuador’s FM Sommerfeld. We spoke about our joint efforts to combat transnational organised crime. We also discussed geopolitical developments, such as in Ukraine, on which our countries cooperate closely.

Today’s meeting reflected the strong ties between the Indo-Pacific region and the EU Member States. We discussed how closely our regions are connected, the need to reinforce cooperation and information-sharing, including on maritime security and critical submarine infrastructure. 1/2

Great to once again meet with Foreign Minister Menteri Luar Negeri, after my visit to Jakarta last month. We discussed our strong economic relations and underlined our commitment to strengthened EU - Indo-Pacific cooperation. Also exchanged views on the Gaza peace plan and Ukraine.

After two years, there is finally momentum for lasting peace in Gaza. Last week's adoption of the UNSC resolution is an important step forward. In #Brussels, we had a timely meeting with the Palestine Donor Group, discussing challenges with Palestinian Prime Minister Mustafa. 1/2

De EU veroordeelt met klem het gruwelijke geweld tegen burgers in El Fasher en Dafoer, Soedan. Belangrijk dat we sancties hebben aangenomen tegen een hoge RSF-commandant. Ik heb gepleit voor meer EU inzet om een einde te maken aan het conflict, waaronder aanvullende sancties. 1/2

As EU, we condemn the grave atrocities committed against civilians in #Sudan's El Fasher and Darfur. Important that we adopted restrictive measures against the deputy RSF commander. I urged for further EU action aimed at ending this conflict, including additional listings. 1/2

At the #FAC, we reaffirmed the need to increase EU support to Ukraine and ramp up pressure on Russia to stop its war of aggression.

I called for urgent financial, military and energy support, as well as additional sanctions against Russian shadow fleet vessels and oil companies.

Met with my Italian colleague Antonio Tajani to coordinate on key challenges, including implementation of the Gaza peace plan and the need to step up (energy) support to Ukraine. Also shared views on EU-Africa engagement. I hope to visit Rome soon and build on our partnership.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and I discussed these efforts, as well as the next phases of the Gaza peace plan, the urgency of a ceasefire and humanitarian access for Sudan, and Ukraine.

Very good to speak with my Omani colleague Badr Albusaidi about our strong bilateral ties and regional developments. We underlined the urgency of full implementation of the Gaza peace plan, finding a way back to negotiations on Iran’s nuclear file and more pressure on Russia.

Today’s Security Council resolution on Gaza is an important step towards the next phases of the Trump comprehensive plan. We need to move towards a sustainable solution to this conflict and stability in the region. We stand ready to work with all partners to achieve that goal.
