Can you imagine the first time Sam prayed to Jack and he showed up immediately? The impact it must have had on him because he believed his prayers don't work because of the demon blood. He would never think of praying to anyone else again, not god or Cas, his prayers would always be to Jack 💁‍♀️

One thing I would always believe spn missed out on was a powers!Dean storyline. Not during the s1-2 era, but after his fallout with Sam in s4-5, finally understanding what it's like and getting to fight Michael and Lucifer together in the finale. The angst would've been *chef's kiss*

The visual of this man...sometimes I wonder why spn never hyped him up as a gorgeous guy through 3rd character povs when it was so clear to the audience

The way I see it, of the 4 of them, Dean and Cas are closer while Sam and Jack are closer. They even have a lot of parallel moments. But when it came to it, Dean chose to kick a human vulnerable Cas out for Sam but Sam stood up to Dean for Jack.

I've been thinking about how both Sam and Dean had their own era of violence. S4-5 Sam internalized it, used it to validate his powers, let it build inside like a weapon. S9-10 Dean couldn't keep it in, lets it break things in his path, lets it hurt and destroy like the ruins of his mind.

There should have been a soul binding case episode with Sam and Dean slowly realizing how their codependency is way worse than the cursed victims.

The way spn had so much sympathy for every other character that made horrible decisions but not for Sam who had his trauma, griefstricken mistakes and mental struggles overlooked with disdain, accusations and isolation. No one showed Sam the love and support he showed them.
