Forming a rather angry expression on his non-existent face, the Tall Man stays silent for a moment before coming to the realization of who the possible suspect was.

"My daughter..."

"Impossible..." Toby remarks while narrowing his eyes. "If someone else was present, I would've been the first to know about it.

I practically scanned the inside from top to bottom!

Who could've possibly been here, saved that girl, and slip past us without either of us knowing?"

Confused by this, the young proxy raises a brow.

"What?

You mean someone else was home, after all?"

"No." Slender answers as he stares down at Toby.

"I mean, she was alone until someone intervened."

Since there was no way for Toby himself to know if Mel was dead or not, he casually looks up at his Master, asking, "So, any chance she's still inside?" To which Slender replies, "No... and to make matters worse, she's not alone."

Standing outside a short distance from the lodge, both Toby & Slender could be found staring at the building as the flames engulfed the entirety of its structure.

After finding both the grill lighter & the bottle of lighter fluid, Toby cleverly marches back upstairs, only to pour lighter fluid with each step he took.

Once that part of the plan was complete, he quickly heads back down and pours another stream leading towards the front door.

Simple... a bottle of lighter fluid, and a grill lighter.

Since Toby himself possessed experience in starting fires, Slender told him where exactly he could find them.

As it went on to warn its proxy of the danger behind the door, it telepathically instructs him to head into the kitchen downstairs, which Toby proceeded to do.

There, the young lad was able to find two items that could be used to force the girl outside.

What could they be, you might ask?

Though the entity in question didn't possess a name, most referred to it as none other than "The Slender Man."

It was the voice of the man who saved him from death 2 years before becoming a proxy. The same man who caused Toby to forget his past, thus brainwashing him into an all-new, corrupted identity.

In that exact moment, just when Toby was about to swing his hatchet & begin hacking at the door, a familiar voice pops into his head, causing him to stop in his tracks.

With no time to waste, Toby begins making his way upstairs in a continuously slow, silent mannerism.

Upon trying the first room & finding nothing, he attempts to enter the next one before discovering that the door in particular was locked.

All at once, a loud, glass shattering sound could be heard as Toby slowly goes on to enter the living room.

Picking up his hatchet from the floor, he looks around carefully, only to then notice the staircase that led to the second floor.

Since her footsteps were loud, however, and nowhere near the front door, the young proxy heads over to the large window beside it, thus backing up a few feet away before tossing his hatchet as if it were a tomahawk!

As one might've guessed, Toby had come to Melody's home with the full intention of ambushing & possibly killing her.

The hood itself was of a blue variety, and covering his face was a pair of orange lensed goggles complete with a black & greyish muzzle.

The man's name was Toby, and in one of his black leather gloves was an old hatchet with a wooden handle and dull, bloodstained blade.
