Why do we forget, most of the carribean served as slave plantations to fuel the (now) United States and European economy. Slavery forever ties the carribean to United States history. Same trade different stop. Carribean history doesn't start with independence.

If you all would have included truthful Black History as part of American History, you wouldn't be so "shocked" by what is happening right now. In fact, what is happening now likely wouldn't be happening because you would have been able to see it coming with knowledge of history.

PR is a US Territory representing a blend of Indigenous Taino, Spanish, and African culture, which is VERY much American history. The way these ppl are carrying on about a damn halftime show...
