Terrible taste and lousy execution.
Jesus fuck, at least get these assholes a Cricut.
New sign outside the Oval Office..
It brings me no pleasure to report that he could win the Dem nomination for Governor based off the Trump endorsement.
he's your problem now, Florida
"The target market is the market your are targeting to sell your product. You have to know who you are targeting so you can figure out how to sell to them. Who is the target market for skateboards."

Business major: "Um, people who buy skateboards".
I was a poli sci major in a marketing class with business majors because I was sort of putting together this weird sort of "politics as performance" concentration (so I could take a bunch of theater related classes) and every class I wanted to die.
If this is truly the life hack for living well without working, well then you do it. Go on. It's apparently sooooooo easy and wonderful. Do it. Wildly...they don't which is almost how you know they are full of shit.
Since the "SNAP benefits allow poor people to eat like kings" debate is back in the news, I remember when my brother was complaining that he saw someone buying lobsters with an EBT card and that people who get government benefits live easy lives.

"Well, then quit your job and get on benefits!"
When Florida tried this in 2012 (before an injunction) the ended up spending about 45k more than they saved. The only people who made money in the whole thing was the drug testing companies which...um...might have included his wife's company.
One of the reasons "all welfare recipients should be drug tested" ended up failing as a policy was that the cost of drug testing all people on welfare was must more than the savings from "catching" people using drugs.
At one point Trump heard the term "crypto mining" and now treats it like a resource like coal or wheat.
I wonder what search term he used because "cemetery gates" just gives me the normal ones. (Just kidding he's obviously lying but it is such a silly one).
I was trying to explain Originalism to my Mother and had to take a side trek down Deism and The Jefferson Bible and no...nobody should know about Originalism. It should be a thing weirdo law professors argue about and not something actively ruining my life.
So many issues come down to "academic concepts have escaped containment". My Mom doesn't need to know what critical race theory is. She sells copiers. She doesn't need to have an opinion on it (her opinion is "oh that sounds interesting and fine" but the fact she has to have an opinion is weird).
I mean, in some cases this is also because these hate campaigns are started and amplified by the same people: channers, foreign influence operations, and paid PR firms.
And the amazing thing is that the snakes towards Warren was the same thing was used against Taylor Swift by fans of Kanye West when she complained about a lyric he wrote about her. It's a politics as pop culture and the uniting theme is hating women.
If I thought that never getting out of bed would help the state of the world...that would be great. If I thought setting a Walmart on fire would be helpful, I'd do that. I mostly just keep going so that I can get enough money to use it to help people with less.
"I don't think people realize how bad X is".

I realize. I am quite aware. I am unsure of exactly what I can do about it and that terrifies me, but I need to keep getting out of bed each day and going to work (a place where occasionally I get to do some good) and being part of my community.
How are Dems spending too much time on social issues when we aren't the ones trying to create genital inspections for school sports or bathroom police?
"Democrats* are out of touch"

*A single random weirdo on social media with a trust fund and a polycule who said that eating sandwiches is cultural appropriation leading to a two day news cycle on Fox News.
Man, I almost want to run for office to see the fact checks when I describe someone as my Aunt when really they are my grandmother's ex-stepson's ex-SIL.
Anyway, the idea of family by blood/marriage/adoption being somehow MORE and of a better nature than a found family of those choosing to be together but lacking those biological or legal connections is DEEP in the laws and minds of the country.
In theory, four brothers could move into Belle Terre and it would not violate the law or ruin the sanctity of this "sanctuary", but four unrelated college friends would. Even if the ages were all the same. What is it that makes the brothers acceptable but not the four friends?
East Cleveland's problem wasn't their law, but that their law limited FAMILIES. It was fine, actually a good thing, to prohibit two best friends from living together in a home, but it would be WRONG to stop two people related by blood from doing so.
It added "It is ample to lay out zones where
family values, youth values, and the blessings of quiet
seclusion and clean air make the area a sanctuary for
people."

In other words: families need special places of their own to be free from the demands of the non-families.
