I get what you’re saying but the entire white base is run by parentless child soldiers. That message gets across whether or not I find the youngest of these orphans annoying or not

They are certainly important towards giving Fraw meaning in the war, and at times they are a mismatched mirror to accentuate the melancholy of the war, but far too often they are a sugar-sweet side dish to a meal that isn’t asking for it

a lot of western media follows rules that can be very constricting and navel gazing. for example, the "hero's journey", originally a concept used to describe similarities in a handful of myths was used by Star Wars, and so everyone has to use it now.
