I'm not really a fan of any of the middle games (3-5, 6 isn't too hot either), but 3 has the potential to be a better game without the combat being just the ai blocking everything on any difficulty that's not Easy, and even that

I've only done the MesuKing substories once, I think, but I thought it was pretty neat. The catfights in 0 I never did much, because I was making vods of the game at the time.

Pocket Circuit is fun, but I'm not super good at Dragon Kart. Most of it has to do with some of the courses, though.

A lot of media like this seems to have the problem of inventing new characters as plot devices because they either wrote themselves into a corner or they killed everyone off way too fast for ratings, but didn't have any time to actually do anything meaningful with them
