Spring showers bring Wet KazuScara, posting day: April 18th, 2025

Wet KazuScara Day is a special day devoted to posting fanworks about KazuScara/ScaraKazu at their best, that is, wet. It's about them being wet so it is not limited to water! Close to water or something else that is wet also counts, e.g. boats, under an umbrella.

In case you need some inspiration we’ve listed some example prompts below! Wet can be a scenario and/or AU, but it can also be a descriptor and both types of prompt count!

Feel free to use the example prompts or get creative and use your own!

Title: Love's A Madness On The Breeze

Summery:

“You know nothing about me, Kaedehara. You couldn’t have expected to find me anywhere.” The words were sharp, but the tone was soft, almost sad, and it only made Kazuha’s curiosity grow.

“I know what you’ve told me. You mentioned being in the service of the Dendro Archon, and so I thought if I were ever to meet you again I may have been able to find you in Sumeru City, not deep in the wilds as we are now.”

That was enough to draw the quickest of glances from the other.

“You make it sound like you wanted to meet again.”

“I did.” The answer felt as quick and easy as the wind itself, even if Kazuha hadn’t known the full truth of it until it left his lips.

Fic name: Hairline Fractures

Fic snippet:

"Scaramouche tightened his grip on Kazuha’s shirt, pressing him up against the wall harder.

“That. ‘My friend’? Are you stupid or just insane? I ruined your whole family and you’re calling me your friend?”

Scaramouche’s eyes seemed to be glowing softly in the low light of the cave, and Kazuha found he couldn't look away from them. The intensity of his expression mixed with the delicate beauty of his features made whole lines of poetry spring to life in Kazuha’s mind.

There was a moment where Scaramouche’s eyes flicked downwards, and Kazuha wondered if the target of the look had been his lips.

“You’re so fucking confusing and it’s insufferable. I should hate you …but I don’t.”

The final admission came out quieter than the rest, as if he were hesitant to voice it.

How interesting… he felt as if Scaramouche might be an infinite well of fascinating complexities, and he felt driven to investigate each one intimately.

“Then we feel the same about each other,” Kazuha said with a smile.

Scaramouche froze, and Kazuha watched as his expression changed countless times in just a few seconds.

Their faces were incredibly close now, and Kazuha could feel Scaramouche’s breath on his skin.

Just a little closer… "
