Wait what? Rudyard says the strategy’s clear, there’s no fighting the inevitability of empire. We’re too small and would waist $100s of billions trying preserve independence! But what’s offered can’t replace what we’ll lose, so must resist. Although still hope Janice is right, and it’s a fumble.
