Just finished the Nopon village segment in Xenoblade Chronicles and Riki being a 40 year old man with a wife and kids is such a good bit.

Finally made it to the furthest point I originally reached when I first played Xenoblade Chronicles a few years back. Everything from here on out is new to me!

Xenoblade Chronicles is really fun! I’m getting really close to the furthest point I reached when I originally tried playing it a few years back (chapter 7). I feel like I’m getting into it a lot more this time around, so I feel confident that this time I’ll actually see it through to the end.

A new Castlevania game for the first time in 12 years is kinda sick though. That was probably the highlight of the State of Play for me.

That’s about what I expected. They were never going to show a trailer for something like DQ12 or KH4 in a Partner Showcase, so I knew I probably wasn’t going to get that hyped for this one. Ah well. 🤷♂️

I think Clair Obscur gets way better if you don’t turn it into a contest between JRPGs and western RPGs and just enjoy it for what it is. It’s a great game and I’m sad that so many people get turned away because of how people who aren’t fans of the genre tend to overhype it as something it’s not.
