I don't think he was THAT cruel or evil to cause that fire in the first place. He probably even thought that it was a stupid idea too. So it must've been SOMEONE who did that or it's just a purely accident.

Maybe Cahaya was trying to burn some leaves in the yard?

But uh.. I kinda doubt that tho😅

So, he took the blame and yeah.. that's how he ruined his relationship with Daun.

Cahaya felt guilty, and probably reminisced about how he treated Daun horribly before.

Knowing Cahaya.. he probably thought it's best if Daun goes to Pulau Rintis too along with his other brothers.

Maybe Cahaya tried to explain to him that it wasn't his doing but it falls on deaf ears as Daun was crying and panicking.

So they go to Cahaya's house and light up a fire and throw it at the garden.

And then Cahaya smells something burning and he goes to check it out.

And Daun probably goes there a second later and then sees Cahaya standing near that garden and thinks Cahaya was the one who did that.

Okay so, we all know that everyone in their old school hates Cahaya right? So what if they knew the reason Cahaya brothers left was to get away from him?

So they take that chance to get Daun to leave him too as revenge.
