“Sober but social” -my new tagline It will still be tv, movie and book reviews, mixed with my odd views on other stuff along the way. And of course there will be the odd spelling mistake.

I’ve since been educated myself and read up on it.
Didn’t know it was a remake

Bugonia ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stone gives a cold but brilliant performance, with superb support from Plemons and Delbis. In this darkly funny, hostage/conspiracy, told as Yorgos Lanthimos could.

The ending while I called it, for some will divide peoples thoughts on the film.
Finished season 12 a few weeks back, thought I posted but hadn’t.

I always felt the doctors abroad stuff took up a lot more than it did. Guess that’s what you get when you watch it weekly. The show is still strong, but sometimes just forgets how to finish of some characters, Lewis especially!
Sunday tush for you!

23 days and it’s been on this Earth 42 years!

Got my hair cut yesterday I forgot to report!
Left the Secret Screaming, Terrifer 3 only released last year is not a classic horror film! Or one I’m bothered to sitting through.
The correct answer! This ain’t her story!
Jon M. Chu says Dorothy’s face will not be shown in ‘WICKED: FOR GOOD’

“I didn’t want to step on who you think Dorothy is in whatever story that you came into this with… [This] is still Elphaba and Glinda’s journey, and she is a pawn in the middle of all of it”

Then you would have definitely been missing out
I saw it at the long forgotten Odeon Leeds City Centre, in screen 4, had in on VHS and have it on Blu-ray

A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge

I think this was only my second viewing and it really is a camp slice of 80s horror, with some interesting, some odd, and some very gay ideas.

Shelby Oaks ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Effectively creepy and rather short supernatural chiller. Yes it does beg the question of why would she do that or that alone but if you got or that it has some decent creepy moments and ideas

Black Phone 2 ⭐️⭐️

The film looks pretty but it’s all over the place. The scares and creepiness weren’t there, the first 30 mins jumps all over never really connecting, then when it does connect the dots I was like…oh is that it.
